VW TOUAREG ( 18/06/2010 – 19/01/2016) DEFECT: On affected vehicles the retaining clip for the pivot shaft of the brake pedal bearing may have inadvertently been lost during assembly. Movement of the shaft may affect braking efficiency and in extreme cases cause loss of braking.
Remedy
Inspect pivot shaft mounting and where necessary fit a new clip.
