VW TIGUAN ( 11/07/2007 – 10/02/2008) DEFECT: The earth terminal of the additional air heater may not be correctly attached. This can lead to overheating of the connection and in the most unfavourable case to a vehicle fire.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to modify the attachment of the earth cable on the heating element of the additional air heater.
