VW PASSAT ( 01/02/2005 – 31/05/2005) DEFECT: During manufacture the steering track rod locking nuts may been tightened to an insufficient torque. As a result the attachment of the track rod may become loose.
Remedy
Recalled vehicles will have the track rod locking nuts replaced on both the left and right hand sides.
