VW PASSAT ( 01/03/1991 – 31/08/1992) DEFECT: The headlamp switch may overheat and result in headlamp failure.
Remedy
Recall the affected vehicles for the fitting of a cable harness with control relay. In addition the light switch is to be replaced on Passat and Golf Ecomatic models as appropriate.
