VW CADDY ( 01/05/2012 – 01/02/2013) DEFECT: The earth attachment for the on board power supply control unit may not be to specification. This can lead to various electrical events. In the most unfavourable case the engine may start when using the central locking remote control.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the torque of the earth attachment. If necessary the earth attachment is to be tightened to the correct specification.
