VOLVO CAR XC90 ( – ) DEFECT: It has been identified that the steering gear pressure hose may become damaged due to conflict with the engine cooling fan. Should the hose come into contact with the cooling fan there could be a sudden draining of the hydraulic oil from the system and loss of steering power assistance.
Remedy
Recalled vehicles will have the steering pressure hose secured to avoid possible engine cooling fan contact.
