VOLVO CAR XC60 – ENGINE COOLING FAN MAY FAIL

VOLVO CAR XC60 ( –  ) DEFECT:  It has been identified that due to a software issue with the engine cooling fan control module the air conditioning performance may be reduced and the engine coolant temperature may increase. This will result in warning messages being displayed. In extreme cases if the driver does not heed the warnings the engine may fail.

Remedy

Recalled vehicles will have the cooling fan control module replaced.
