VOLVO CAR 400 SERIES – CHAFING OF INJECTOR CABLE HARNESS

VOLVO CAR 400 SERIES ( –  ) DEFECT:  The single point injector cable harness may chafe against the cylinder head. This could result in short circuiting and burning of the harness.


Remedy: Recall the affected vehicles and check the injector cable harness for indications of chafing making good where necessary before securing the harness to the throttle mechanism body.
