Movement of the wiring harness connector to the fan speed resistor may lead to connector plug terminals becoming heat damaged. In rare circumstances, this can lead to electrical stress.
Remedy
Replacement the heating & ventilation system wiring harness with a redesigned connector plug and additional mounting points.
