VAUXHALL MOVANO – REAR WHEEL BEARING MAY SHEAR

VAUXHALL MOVANO ( 15/12/2009 –  22/04/2010) DEFECT:  It is possible that the rear wheel bearing has been damaged whilst it was assembled onto the stub axle. This should be identified by excessive noise however in the worst case if not detected it could result in bearing failure and the detachment of the wheel and hub.

Remedy

Recall all the affected vehicles and replace the wheel bearings with new items which will have protective sleeves to aid correct installation.
