VAUXHALL INSIGNIA ( 04/07/2008 – 19/03/2015) DEFECT: Due to a gradual gas leak inside the left-hand tailgate strut the strut may become unable to support the opened tailgate. The tailgate may drop abruptly after first opening normally potentially causing serious injuries to persons present in the opening range of the tailgate.
Remedy
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replaced the left hand gas strut.
