VAUXHALL GRANDLAND ( 09/10/2017 – 01/12/2017) DEFECT: The engine pistons may not be according to specification leading to oil entry in the inlet circuit. In a worst case this may cause an increased engine rpm for a few seconds possibly resulting in a total engine failure.
Remedy
Perform a test of the engine to establish if the pistons are to specification. Where necessary the engine will be replaced.
