TOYOTA PROACE – UNEXPECTED AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT

TOYOTA PROACE ( 03/03/2016 –  20/12/2016) DEFECT:  There is a possibility that water could enter the cabin through the panels separating the cabin and the engine compartment. If this occurs water could reach and affect some electrical components such as the airbag module and possibly cause unexpected airbag deployment.

Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and apply sealant to close the gap between the affected body panels.
