TOYOTA LEXUS LS430 – ENGINE MAY STALL

TOYOTA LEXUS LS430 ( 29/07/2003 –  09/03/2004) DEFECT:  The impeller of the fuel pump sited in the fuel tank may deform. This condition could increase the rotational resistance of the impeller and in the worse case the fuel pump may lock which may in turn result in the engine stalling.

Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the fuel pump with a modified part.
