SUZUKI SWIFT – POSSIBLE SLACKENING OF THE STEERING RACK AND INBOARD ENGINE MOUNTING FASTENERS

SUZUKI SWIFT ( 02/08/2000 –  15/08/2000) DEFECT:  Fasteners on the steering rack and the inboard engine mounting may not have been tightened correctly. In the event that any fasteners come completely undone while the car is being driven the driver could lose control of the vehicle.

Remedy

Recall affected vehicles check the fasteners for correct torque and tighten where necessary.
