SKODA OCTAVIA ( 01/05/1998 – 31/01/1999) DEFECT: On Skoda Octavia LX vehicles which are not equipped with ABS brake servo units designed only for ABS vehicles have been installed. Due to the different performance of the brake servo units a risk exists that the brakes could lock under severe driving conditions (ice snow).
Remedy
Recall vehicles to replace the brake servo unit.
