SKODA FABIA – INCORRECT CURTAIN AIRBAG MAY ACTIVATE

SKODA FABIA ( 28/06/2006 –  24/05/2007) DEFECT:  It has been identified that some of the wires within airbag control unit block connector have been incorrectly installed. In the event of a collision this will result in the activation of the curtain airbag on the opposite side to the impact.

Remedy

Recalled vehicles will have the wiring to the control unit checked and rectified should this be necessary.
