RENAULT ZOE ( – ) DEFECT: The front wheel arch liners may have been incorrectly positioned which may cause them to rub against the front brake hoses. In rare circumstances this could cause a low leakage from both front flexible brake hose leading to gradual increased brake pedal travel in extreme cases a sudden bursting of the flexible hose with sudden increased brake travel and a resultant affect on the braking efficiency. A warning light indicating a low brake fluid level will be displayed on the dashboard.

Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and inspect the front wheel arch liners and brake hoses. Where necessary reposition the wheel arch liners and replace the brake hose/s.
