RENAULT TRAFIC – REAR AXLE MAY DETACH

RENAULT TRAFIC ( 01/03/2014 –  21/01/2016) DEFECT:  The rear axle bolts may not have been correctly tightened which may generate a noise from inside the wheel arch or cause friction on the Tyre. If the concern is not addressed it is possible for the axle to become uncoupled from the body of the vehicle.

Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to ensure the bolts are at the correct torque. Where axle bolts are found to be missing the axle must be replaced.
