PEUGEOT 5008 ( 30/07/2009 – 24/04/2010) DEFECT: Water entering the rear doors may enter the electric window motor causing the mechanism to malfunction. In the long-term the presence of water may cause a short circuit in the motor leading to localised heating of the door panel.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to fit additional protection on the rear electric window motors.
