PEUGEOT 308 ( 02/05/2008 – 21/11/2008) DEFECT: It has been identified that the shield which protects the diesel fuel filter in the event of an impact may be incorrectly positioned. This can result in the possibility that the impact shield is in too close a proximity to the positive terminal of the alternator.
Remedy
Recalled vehicles will have the position of the impact shield checked. Additionally the component will be fitted with an insulator.
