PEUGEOT 308 ( 10/09/2007 – 17/11/2007) DEFECT: It has been identified that the welds which secure the bonnet locking assembly may prove inadequate in use. This can result in difficulty closing the bonnet or failure of the lock to properly engage.
Remedy
Recalled vehicles will have a strengthening component fitted to the bonnet lining to ensure that the trigger cable remains firmly secured to the bonnet. In very rare cases and only if necessary the bonnet will be replaced.
