PEUGEOT 307 ( 09/02/2004 – 12/02/2004) DEFECT: The possibility exists that the weld points on the chassis rear side members may not have been made correctly. With the result that in the case of an impact the vehicle would not comply with the energy absorption criteria.
Remedy
Likely to be affected vehicles will be recalled for checking of the subject welds. If it is found that the welds are not to specification Product Service should be contacted.
