PEUGEOT 206 ( –  ) DEFECT:  It has been identified on a small number of vehicles that the spacer for the front right-hand seat belt fixing bolt may have been incorrectly fitted. It is therefore possible that in time this could result in the fixing for the assembly becoming insecure.

Remedy: Recalled vehicles will have the fitting of the spacer checked for compliance with the specification. If found to be necessary the trim will be repositioned and the assembly re-tightened to the correct torque.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a PEUGEOT dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

How to contact your dealer

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.
