NISSAN QASHQAI ( 23/09/2013 – 26/05/2016) DEFECT: In conditions such as high speed and high vehicle loading the rear right wheel arch protector may contact the brake hose. Over time repeated contact could wear through the outer protective cover of the brake hose. This could damage the inner reinforcing braiding and in an extreme case wear a hole in the hose which could lead to brake fluid leakage.
Remedy
On affected vehicles re-work the rear wheel arch protector and if necessary replace the brake pipe with new.
