NISSAN PIXO ( 03/11/2008 – 22/06/2012) DEFECT: It is possible that the heater fan motor may seize at slow speed. Under extreme conditions this may cause the internal temperature of the heater fan circuit to increase. If this occurs the thermal fuse may not cut-out which will result in an overheating of the fan and its surrounding area. The driver will find smoke being exhaled via the heater vents and in extreme circumstances there could be a vehicle fire.

Remedy
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the heater motor thermal fuse with an up-rated item.
