MITSUBISHI TONNEAU COVER ( 01/01/2007 – 28/02/2009) DEFECT: It has been identified that in some cases the metal rod which connects the 3 profile hinge is not correctly fixed at it’s ends. In the worst case the hinge may fail which can case the tonneau cover to detach from the vehicle.
Remedy
Recalled vehicles will have the tonneau cover hinges changed for ones with closed ends.
