MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER ( 01/01/2008 – 11/07/2008) DEFECT: It has been identified that the engine fuel return pipe can become damaged as the result of abrasion with it’s fixation and harness.
MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER – FUEL COULD LEAK FROM THE RESIN FUEL RETURN PIPE ON THE INLET MANIFOLD.
Remedy
Recalled vehicles will be checked for evidence of pipe damage which if none is evident protective covers will be installed. Should it be found that the pipes are damaged they will be replaced by pipes which are fitted with protective covers.
