MERCEDES BENZ VIANO – BRAKE PEDAL TO MASTER CYLINDER CLEVIS PIN CAN BECOME DETACHED

MERCEDES BENZ VIANO ( 01/11/2003 –  31/10/2004) DEFECT:  The clevis pin which secures the brake master cylinder push rod to the brake pedal cross shaft may become detached due to the possible non-fitment of the securing clip.

Remedy

Likely to be affected vehicles will be checked for the installation of the securing clip. Should it be found that the securing clip has not been fitted one will be installed.
