MERCEDES BENZ VARIO RANGE ( 01/01/2010 – 04/08/2010) DEFECT: It is possible that the polystop (Nylock) nut may become loose or detach due to an issue with the plastic retaining ring. Should this occur then detachment of the tie rod/track rod could occur which could result in the loss of directional control.
Remedy
Recall the affected vehicles and replace polystop nut
