MERCEDES BENZ SPRINTER ( 01/01/2006 – 31/12/2006) DEFECT: It has been identified that on certain vehicles the threaded insert of the parking brake adjuster may break under load due to insufficient wall thickness. Should breakage of the adjuster occur parking brake efficiency will be lost.
Remedy
Recalled vehicle will have the parking brake adjuster replaced with a quality assured item.
