MERCEDES BENZ CLA ( 01/05/2014 – 31/05/2014) DEFECT: On affected vehicles individual threaded seat belt connections may not have been tightened to the correct torque. This may affect the anchoring of seat belts window bags and ground points. The manufacturer cannot completely rule out that the affected components may not fulfil their designated functions as the seat belt anchorage points may not be fully secure. It is also possible that this may cause erroneous messages to appear in the instrument cluster

Remedy
Recall vehicles and check torque settings on affected threaded connections. Correct where necessary.
