MERCEDES BENZ C CLASS ( 01/04/2014 – 28/02/2015) DEFECT: Due to a software code error it is possible that the 1.6ltr 4 cylinder diesel engines may suffer a stalling situation during the warm-up phase and where the engine is subjected to high load requirements. However if the engine does stall it can be immediately restarted and the vehicle can be driven without restrictions. Furthermore all safety systems remain fully functional.
Remedy
Recall all affected vehicles to update the engine control unit software.
