MERCEDES BENZ C CLASS ( 01/10/2014 – 30/10/2014) DEFECT: The threaded connection of the crash sensors at the B-pillars may not be to specification. There is a possibility that the side restraint system may trigger too late or not at all in the event of a side impact which may pose an increased risk of injury for the vehicle occupants.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary correct the threaded connection of the crash sensors at both the left and right B-pillars.
