MERCEDES BENZ ATEGO ( 17/10/2016 – 02/11/2016) DEFECT: The threaded connection of the axle stop bracket on the rear axle may not have been tightened to specification. As a result the threaded connection could work loose and allow the bracket to fall on the roadway which can increase the risk of a collision.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the tightness of the threaded connection. If loose the threaded connection will be replaced and tightened to specification.
