MERCEDES BENZ ANTOS ( – ) DEFECT: There is insufficient room for the front brake hoses to move with the steering and suspension without chafing the hose. Should a brake hose chafe through the front wheel brake of the affected axle side could fail upon pressing the brake pedal. The front wheel brake on the affected axle side may therefore fail in the most unfavourable case.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to fit new hoses and brackets which are the same as the current production.
