MERCEDES BENZ ACTROS RANGE – OFFSIDE FRONT SPRING(S) RETAINING BOLTS MAY NOT BE TIGHTENED TO SPECIFICATION.

MERCEDES BENZ ACTROS RANGE ( 18/04/2017 –  19/04/2017) DEFECT:  The bolts retaining the offside front leaf spring (or springs) and support bracket(s) may not have been tightened to the correct specification. If a support bracket disconnects this could affect the steering.

Remedy

Check spring and bracket retaining bolts for tightness. Replace bolts if necessary and tighten all bolts to correct specification.
