MERCEDES BENZ ACTROS RANGE ( 01/01/2008 – 31/12/2010) DEFECT: The oil dipstick guide tube on these vehicles is used for possible oil extraction. It has been found under certain circumstances there is a risk of fire due to engine oil escaping via the oil dip stick guide.
Remedy
Retrofit an optimised stop plug for the oil dipstick guide tube.
