MERCEDES-BENZ A CLASS (01/09/2017 – 20/03/2018) RECALL: It has been determined that the A-Class 177 might have some missing welding points in the area of both front side members. It is possible that due to a deviation in the internal production process a couple of welding points could not have been set. If these welding points are not present the structural behaviour would be impaired in the event of a crash. In this case, an increased risk of injury for the passengers cannot be excluded.

Remedy
As a precautionary measure recall the affected vehicles and check the welding points and rework if necessary.
