MAZDA E2000 ( 20/08/1999 – 26/10/2001) DEFECT: The radiation of heat from the exhaust pipe may cause heat deterioration of the high pressure steering hoses. This will result in cracking of the hoses and the leak of steering fluid.
Remedy
Replace the high-pressure hoses on all the affected vehicles with ones fitted with additional heat resistance material.
