LOTUS EVORA – OIL MAY LEAK

LOTUS EVORA ( 01/09/2010 –  13/09/2011) DEFECT:  An oil cooler pipe may have insufficient room to move freely. As a result the pipe will abrade. If the concern remains unnoticed oil can leak in the engine bay with an increased risk of fire. Additionally oil can leak onto the road and cause a loss of control to the subject vehicle and other road users. If the driver does not heed the low oil pressure warnings then engine damage could occur.

Remedy

Recall all affected vehicles and replace the oil cooler pipes with a modified oil cooler pipe kit.
