LAND ROVER LAND ROVER ( 15/04/1993 – 07/09/1998) DEFECT: Due to a material specification change combined with inadequate tool design and process control it is possible that stress cracking can occur at either the fuel tank vent valve ring welding the breather pipe weld or the filler pipe stub.
Remedy
Replace the fuel tank with an improved design.
