LAND ROVER DISCOVERY ( 13/08/2012 – 14/09/2012) DEFECT: The panoramic roof adhesive and primer used in the assembly bonding of the panoramic roof glass panel may not have been to the correct specification. If the concern occurs there will initially be wind noise when driving or parked and on closing a door the panoramic roof might be seen to lift. If the concern is not rectified the panoramic roof could detach from the vehicle when it is in motion causing risk of collision/injury to other road users.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and apply the correct primer and adhesive to the panoramic roof assembly.
