JEEP CHEROKEE – REAR SUSPENSION MAY DETACH

JEEP CHEROKEE ( 21/05/2014 –  06/06/2014) DEFECT:  One or more of the rear suspension shock absorbers may break at one of the shock absorber attachment points. A partially detached rear suspension shock absorber(s) could cause damage to other rear chassis/suspension components rear brake pipe damage and/or damage to the rear tyre/s increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Check date code of shock absorber fitted and where applicable replace shock absorber
