JEEP CHEROKEE ( – ) DEFECT: Vehicles may experience a vacuum leak in the EGR to Electronic Vacuum Regulator (EVM) tube. This may cause a loss of brake booster vacuum and require increased effort from the driver to operate the foot brake.
Remedy
Inspect the vacuum tube from the EVM to the dash panel. Replace if damaged and re route the tube to eliminate interference with the exhaust shield.
