JEEP CHEROKEE ( 01/05/2002 – 30/09/2002) DEFECT: The upper control arm ball joints fitted to the nearside and/or offside front suspension may experience a loss of lubricant which can lead to corrosion accelerated wear and separation whilst driving. If the ball joint separates directional control will be lost.
Remedy
The recalled vehicles will have new front suspension upper control arms fitted the front suspension.
