JAGUAR X TYPE ( 19/02/2004 – 10/03/2004) DEFECT: X-TYPE vehicles equipped with a dynamic stability control may have been fitted with a yaw rate sensor that has internally delaminated this could result in actuation of the control system incorrectly resulting in uneven and unexpected application of the brakes.
Remedy
Likely to be affected vehicles will be recalled and an inspection of the yaw rate sensor will be undertaken. Should a vehicle be found which has been fitted with a sensor within the affected production batch the sensor will be replaced.
