JAGUAR X TYPE ( 01/01/2001 – 31/10/2002) DEFECT: When power is lost to the external indicators the internal “tell tale” lamp continues to flash as if there was no fault which is in contravention of the UK requirements.
Remedy
Replace the general electrical control module with one which has modified software.
