JAGUAR F-PACE ( 12/04/2016 – 12/04/2016) DEFECT: A number of vehicles specified with automatic transmissions may have been fitted with the incorrect specification rear driveshaft. The incorrect driveshaft length is shorter. The driver may experience underbody noise and/or notice an oil leak. In extreme cases the driveshaft may detach from the differential and as a result the vehicle would lose drive which can increase the risk of a vehicle crash.

Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check if the correct driveshaft is fitted. If not already fitted fit the correct driveshaft.
