infiniti Q70 UK Recall

INFINITI Q70 – UNINTENDED ACCELERATION

INFINITI Q70 ( 06/04/2010 –  18/07/2014) DEFECT:  It has been identified that under certain circumstances the throttle position sensor may send an error signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM). As a result the ECM may not operate as intended and the vehicle may accelerate gradually without the driver operating the throttle pedal. However this acceleration can be overridden by application of the brakes.

Remedy

Recall all affected vehicles to install new software of the ECM.
